More than two third people of Nepal are based on agriculture. Agriculture contributes 39% on GDP and provides employment for more than 66 % people. As we know, 25.04% Nepalese people are below proverty line. According to world bank "agriculture is around four times more effective at raising incomes among the poor than other sectors”(World Bank 2008) . The overall penetration rate of telephone service is more than 48 % according to new Central Bureau of Statistics. The overall penetration rate of internet is more than 19%.
Let us look the population distribution, rural area do not have access to the internet where the farmer (who also known as food engine) resides on village. The urban area where the large number of customer, Government organization, experts and many NGO's are residing have full access to internet and mobile services.
Our system will work to minimize the gap between rural and urban area using latest mobile based technology to improve the income of poor farmer. It also minimize the product price and controls the rate of inflation by avoiding middle layer.
Only developing a highly featured system that is impressed from other countries will not work here. The literacy rate of Nepal is too low. Maximum number of low literate people are involved in faming. The farmer will not be interested for highly complicated and sophisticated system.

Information dessimination and utilities
To solve this problem, we must have to develop the system on different phases to attract farmer, customer and entrepreneur towards ICT based tools. The smart phone app could not be able to reach the whole farmer. Along with it sms based service will be developed and the system will be developed on following phases.
Farmer could not have access to the direct market. There are different layer exists between customer and produces which increases the product price and the whole market is on their control. Our system will calculate agro-price of different market places which will be easily accessible to both farmer and customer and every entity will be aware of product price before performing transaction.
Our system will create virtual market through which farmer and customer can directly meet to each other. They can bargain and deal on best price. The market will be accessible through mobile app and sms based system. The customer can place their product on our e-mandi and can deal with number of supplier for best price. Through which farmer will get the appropriate price and their livlihood will be improved.
Information Dessimination and Utilities:
Our system will help farmer , consumer and entrepreneur by sending important information such as government tender for equipment, subsidies for seeds, crops information, important dates related to agriculture, nearest market etc. Different types of tools such as land converter, seeds calculator, manure calculator will be provided through which farmer will be able to calculate exact quantity of seeds and manure in a scientific way.
Nowadays,Youth are attracting on agriculture. Due to our bureaucracy system, it is difficult to access the content whenever required. At this stage, the farmer will be provided lots of video and text material through which they can learn themself.
Expert are centralized and it is difficult to meet them when needed. Our system will provide user to ask direct query to the government expert and other experienced farmer. Final result will be collected through sms and nearest ICT facilitated house.
Social Networking for Agriculture
Nepal has the largest number of social network user in south asia. Agriculture based social networking platform will be developed and through which the user can share information, idea , experience, views, farm videos, images. Through discussion forum, the query will be trying to solve on local level. This will be great opportunities for both government and farmer to meet each other.
Along with this feature, the localization will be our main priority. We will try to deliver the system in their local language.
